Kelmiküla Kassijaam (Cat station) was created in early 2013. Our main goal is to help homeless cats living on the streets of Tallinn, but we have helped cats from all other Estonia as well.

After rescuing the cats of the street we make sure they are seen by a vet and they can heal and socialise in Kassijaam whilst we look for a new home and loving owner. Currently there is a huge population of homeless cats in Tallinn. We also give out advice to owners and strive to create a culture in Estonia where less cats are left homeless. Rescuing a cat is the easy part. The hardest part of our job is to find a good and loving home for them. All cats in our shelter are vaccinated, neutered, and have a microchip.
